Blackjack Strategies

Blackjack is one of the few games where the player really has control over the outcome of the game. The dealer has to follow very specific rules whereas the player gets to choose whether they want to receive more cards or not. There are three primary strategies other than card counting for winning Blackjack in the casino.

Paroli System

The Paroli System is a type of money management system. After starting with one bet, you increase your bet after you win rather than after you lose. Planning is one of the most important parts of the game. A betting procedure will help you to determine how high you will let the bet go before you lower the initial bet. It will also help you decide how much you want to raise your bet after each win.

Your use of the Paroli system will depend on what type of Blackjack you are playing and what the odds of the bet are. Because a large bankroll is not required, the Paroli system allows you to lower your losses and raise your profits.

D’Alenbert System

D’Alenbert actually combines a couple of different systems. Using this system, the player raises the bet one unit after each losing bet; on the other hand, if there is a winning bet, the player lowers the bet by one unit. Based on the game and odds, the player can choose the sequence and adjustments of the amount in order to win the largest amount of money.

Shuffle Tracking

Shuffle tracking is the newest technique for winning Blackjack. With shuffle tracking, players basically watch several specific cards to see where they fall in the stack. Then, the deck can be cut in order to help cut out some of the bad cards. Additionally, players will know when the exact card they need to win will come up. If the chance of the needed card appearing is slim, then players can pass and go with their original cards. Casino dealers are taught to shuffle a specific way every time, so players can easily track single cards to see where they end up.
